I specialize in creating Rich Picture Illustrations to help facilitate corporate communication within organisations such as BP, IF Halifax Bank, Mitsubishi, Vets Now, The Scottish Consumer Council and Scottish Enterprise. The Rich Pictures become visual solutions which help articulate a vision of future strategy, assist change management and highlight internal processes.

I work closely with the client to develop a brief on a one to one basis or in a group workshop format where I am able to articulate the client's needs by visualizing their idea's on paper in the form of preliminary development drawings and sketches. The following testimonial provides a sense of the iterative process involved.

"Neil worked with Vets Now to develop an illustration that depicts our strategy and how the company will look in 5 years’ time. I worked closely with Neil and this was a very iterative process. Throughout it all, Neil was quick to respond to our feedback and imaginatively produce an illustration that really captures the essence of our business and clearly defines where we are going. I am delighted with the final result which will be used across our business to communicate our strategy and vision”.

Fiona Dewar, M.D. Vets Now.

I also specialize in providing illustrated visitor maps for organisations and visitor attractions to improve access around the site and to promote the attraction to potential customers. Illustrated maps help provide a better visitor experience and presents the venue in an attractive, friendly manner. Clients include the Scottish Maritime Museum, Auchengarrich Outdoor Centre, Ayrshire tourism, Historic Scotland and Ardinglas Estate.

Neil created a bespoke digital map for us for use at our outdoor centre. The map is colourful, fun and inviting which is great for our users who are mostly young people. The illustrations are excellent and really true to life, we have received each piece of artwork individually which has been great for other media and communications. We are able to fully edit the map for use in a number of applications which has been really beneficial for different events and activities. From the outset Neil had some really great ideas and advice which helped shape the project, the amenability and flexibility of subsequent edits couldn't have been better which made the whole process easy and stress free".
